Unless you are an Australian citizen, you will require an Australian tourist visa to enter the country. New Zealanders are eligible to apply for a Visa on Arrival (VOA). Before leaving their native country, all other foreign nationals, regardless of age, must apply for an Australia tourist visa. Applications for a variety of Australian tourist visas can be made by contacting expert consultants or the Department of Home Affairs website. Travellers to Australia can choose from a variety of Australian visa types. Your nationality, length of stay, and reason for visiting will determine which visa category applies to you.

Subclass 601 Electronic Travel Authority/ETA Visas for Tourists in Australia

The Subclass 601  Visa allows you to enter Australia as many times as you like for a period of 12 months. On each visit, you are allowed to stay for a maximum of 90 days. For residents of different countries and areas who remain abroad, ETA is accessible. Every candidate with a passport that qualifies for the ETA must use the ETA Australia app to submit their application. Immigration Experts can assist you, but you must be there in person since they require a live photograph of your face.

651 E-Visitor Visa Subclass

A Subclass 601 Visa allows you to enter Australia for either business or pleasure, and you can remain for up to three months at a time. This visa is not extendable and is available to citizens of many European countries.

Visitor Visa Subclass 600

All foreign nationals are eligible for the Subclass 600 Visa, which allows you to enter Australia for either business or pleasure. Typically, a stay of no more than ninety days is permitted. However, depending on the circumstances, a 12-month stay may also be permitted. When applying for a visa, the application cost must be paid.

Requirements for an Australian Tourist Visa

Candidates who want to immigrate to Australia as tourists must meet certain financial and medical requirements. They must have health insurance for the duration of their stay in Australia and submit their application from abroad. The following are the prerequisites for the various Subclass 600 Visitor Visa categories:

Tourist Stream (app for overseas use)

You must have sufficient money for your stay in Australia, have no intentions to work, and solely wish to travel there. You have to be abroad when you apply for a visa and get the answer.

Stream of Tourists (Applicable in Australia)

You must have sufficient money for your stay in Australia, have no intentions to work, and solely wish to travel there. You have to be in Australia when you apply for a visa and get the answer.

Stream of Business Visitors

You must be a legitimate traveller wishing to enter Australia for business purposes and stay abroad while submitting your visa application and waiting for a response.

Applications

Depending on the necessary Visa Subclass/Category, the application procedure for an Australia Visitor Visa may differ. The ETA Australia app is where the Subclass 601 ETA Visa application may be made. In order to apply for the other visitor visa subclasses, one must first create an IMMI account. Online completion of the application process is required. To give DHA enough time to complete your application, you must be sure to submit it well in advance of the day you want to travel. DHA may request more supporting documentation from you. If your application is accepted, you will receive a written notification and it will be digitally connected to your passport. If you already have a Subclass 601 ETA Visa and are in Australia, you can remain longer. Applying for a different visa, such as the Subclass 600 Visitor Visa, will do this. However, there is no way to extend the Subclass 651 E-Visitor Visa. You may get in touch with Nationwide Visas for further information about the various Australian Visitor Visa categories, the prerequisites for these Visa Subclasses, and the application procedure.
