What Immimart is
Immimart is a marketplace. We introduce people planning to move country to immigration consultants, and we hold payments in escrow while agreed work is carried out. We are not an immigration consultancy and we give no immigration advice. The advice you receive comes from the consultant you engage, and the professional responsibility for it is theirs.
What verification means
A “verified” badge means we have seen evidence of the licence or membership named on the profile and checked it against the issuing body where one publishes a register. It is not a guarantee of outcome, competence or conduct. Credentials expire; we track expiry dates and remove the badge when one lapses.
Tokens
A token unlocks a consultant's contact details, once and permanently. Tokens are not currency, cannot be transferred, and are not refundable once a contact has been unlocked — the thing they buy has been delivered at that moment.
Escrow and packages
When you buy a fixed-price package, your payment is held by us and released to the consultant stage by stage as you approve each one. If you do not respond to a submitted stage within the review window shown on the engagement, it is approved automatically — silence cannot strand a consultant's fee indefinitely. Our commission is taken from each release at the rate fixed when the package was bought.
Disputes
Either party may raise a dispute on an engagement. Doing so freezes everything still in escrow: no payment moves in either direction until it is settled. The other party has a set period to respond; if nobody does, the dispute goes to one of our moderators, who will decide on what is in front of them. A moderator may refund, release, or split what is held, and must record the reason, which both parties see.
Reviews
Reviews may only be left by someone who engaged the consultant through Immimart. A consultant may reply once, publicly, and may not edit or remove a review. We remove reviews that are abusive, identify someone without consent, or are not about the work.
Your account
You are responsible for what happens under your login. Tell us immediately if you think someone else has access to it. We may suspend an account where we believe someone is misrepresenting themselves, and we will say why.
Changes
These terms are versioned. When we publish a new version we ask you to accept it, and we keep a record of which version you accepted and when. We do not change a published version after the fact.
