Limited services are available at the IND service point, including getting a return visa or resident endorsement sticker, collecting a residence certificate, and collecting biometric information.In 2025, digital applications will be accepted for sponsor recognition.The application for designation as a labour sponsor will be available for digital submission in the first quarter of 2025. The IND's Business Portal is used to submit the digital application form, which is only accessible in Dutch ('Erkenning als referent (arbeid)'). The employer needs eHerkenning (eRecognition) to recognize a digital application as a sponsor. You may apply for eHerkenning right now. To submit a digital application as an authorized representative on behalf of a firm, one must first get chain authorization. After that, they may log in to the BusinessPortal on the company's behalf and apply. The charge is paid directly by applicants when they submit a digital application. This makes it possible to decide on the application more quickly. The evidence of the fee paid will be mailed to them.
New costs and sums needed in 2025
New costs will be applied to residence applications in the Netherlands as of January 1, 2025. Every year, when salaries and prices increase, the IND modifies these levies. There will be a 6.7% fee increase this year. Additionally, as of January 1, 2025, the minimum income requirements for applicants for residence permits have been modified.The gross monthly requirements for 2025, excluding holiday allowance, are as follows:
Highly qualified immigrant who is at least 30 years old: EUR 5688
Highly skilled migrant under 30: EUR 4171; highly skilled migrant during orientation: EUR 2989
EU Blue Card: EUR 5688
EU Blue Card reduced salary criterion: EUR 4551.
