The BI's modernization drive, part of its vision for a "New Immigration for a New Philippines," aims to streamline procedures and enhance efficiency in handling SSP applications.
Eligibility for Special Study Permit (SSP)
The Special Study Permit (SSP) is granted to foreign students enrolled in diverse educational programs within the Philippines.
Applicants must be under 18 years old.
Must be enrolled and accepted into a non-degree course.
Must be enrolled and accepted into a short-term course lasting less than a year.
Trainees or interns pursuing a degree program.
Students enrolled in aviation or flying schools to fulfill mandatory flying hours.
