To increase the number of tourists visiting the emirate, the Ajman Department of Tourism Development (ADTD) has started a six-day promotional trip around the United Kingdom. Major cities including London, Newcastle, Reading, and Edinburgh will be visited throughout the trip. The project aims to introduce Ajman's distinctive features to the UK market by working with Emirates Airlines and well-known lodging establishments including the Ajman Hotel, Fairmont Ajman, Bahi Ajman Palace Hotel, and The Oberoi Beach Resort.  Director General Saleh Mohamed Al Geziry highlighted Ajman's unique cultural and historical offers in the Arabian Travel Market. He pointed out that families make up around 60% of the emirate's tourists, attracted by the affordable prices and opulent lodgings. "Ajman's history and culture are distinct from those of the other emirates," said Al Geziry. You won't find it anywhere else.

A Variety of Events and Attractions

There are several attractions in Ajman to suit a range of interests. The emirate is also known for its immaculate beaches, which provide a wealth of options for those who enjoy water sports. World-class facilities are available to golfers, and there are several hiking routes for those who like the outdoors. Historical and cultural landmarks like Masfout Castle and the Saleh Souq provide tourists with an idea of the rich history of the emirate. Ajman has already played home to important events in 2025, such as the Ajman Food Festival and the Ajman Motor Festival. Ajman’s tourism sector is also benefiting from a growing emphasis on sustainable and eco-friendly travel experiences. The emirate has introduced several initiatives to promote responsible tourism, including conservation programs for its coastal and desert ecosystems. Visitors can explore Ajman’s natural beauty through eco-tours, mangrove kayaking, and wildlife conservation projects, offering a blend of adventure and environmental awareness. These initiatives not only enhance the visitor experience but also position Ajman as a forward-thinking travel destination that balances growth with sustainability. Looking ahead, the ADTD is committed to expanding its international reach by collaborating with global travel agencies and influencers to showcase Ajman’s hidden gems. Future plans include enhancing digital marketing efforts, launching targeted campaigns in emerging travel markets, and further improving tourism infrastructure. With its blend of rich heritage, modern luxury, and a growing reputation as a family-friendly destination, Ajman is well on its way to becoming a must-visit location for UK travelers and beyond.
